Whatever for Hire: A Magical Romantic Comedy (with a body count) by R.J. Blain was exactly what I needed this week.
I’ve read many of Blain’s other books, but for some reason had never picked up one in the A Magical Romantic Comedy (with a body count) Series. Yes, that’s a whole series. And now…I’m wondering why I hadn’t. Because Whatever for Hire was truly awesome.
There is Magic. There is Romance. There is Comedy. There is a body count. “Fencing. Fighting. Torture. Poison. True love…” Yes, I almost love Whatever for Hire as much as I love Princess Bride. Which is really saying something. You should probably read it. And the rest of the series. Now.
