Kitsune Matsuri by William Johnston

by | May 4, 2015

*I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.* Kitsune Matsuri by William Johnston is a wonderful romp through Japanese folk lore. This adventure is about a young American, abroad for the first time, teaching English. He’s in a new country for less than twenty four hours when he brushes up against the supernatural and is introduced to a world that few gaijins are ever allowed to see. As Tobias struggles with a new culture, he grows into the man he’s supposed to be. This is an wonderfully vivid coming of age story.

I only post reviews for books I am not connected with. If I beta read or edited the book, or work as a virtual assistant for the author, I do not post a review. However, authors occasionally send me books to review.
