Adrenal Fatigue by James L. Wilson

by | Oct 1, 2021

It’s not often I can say with zero doubt that a book has completely changed my life. But Adrenal Fatigue: 21st Century Stress Syndrome by James L. Wilson certainly has.

I’ve known for years that stress was wearing my body down. And I’ve known for years that something hormonally was wrong with my body. (By years I mean almost two decades now.) But no matter how many standard tests we ran, or how many doctors I spoke to, we could never find anything that wasn’t “in normal range.” Until I read this book and asked for a special test that’s not part of the normal panels. The results were immediate, conclusive, and shockingly enlightening.

This book not only provided a step-by-step self diagnosis process (which I then followed up with the doctor’s visit), but then step-by-step recovery process, attacking the problem from multiple directions at once. It won’t be overnight, after all it took two decades to get here, but there is now hope that I can recover and feel better in time.

Yes, there are lots of lifestyle, dietary, and mental health changes that have to be put into place in order to recover from adrenal fatigue, but now I know that I CAN.

If you’ve been struggling with low level ick and fatigue for years, but your doctor couldn’t find the cause, I highly suggest you take a look at this book. If you have chronic respiratory, digestive, and muscle issues, check this out. If you’ve tested for thyroid, perimenopause, and other hormone-related issues but they came back negative, check this out. I cannot stress (haha) how much knowing what the issue is and then how to fix it has helped.

Knowing that you CAN Weather the Storm is often all you need to be able to weather it.
